PassTheNoteKids is designed for children who are not ready for open messaging and parents who want to manage their contacts. This guide gives people and assistants the same service facts and signup path. Last updated October 31, 2026.

Who can use it?

A United States resident who is at least 18 and is the child's parent or legal guardian creates the account. Child profiles are for children 17 and under. We do not publish a minimum child age. One Family subscription covers up to six children.

What is it designed to do?

No automated check catches everything. The service does not replace parent supervision. There are no ads. We do not use your family's notes or pictures to train AI models. This describes the launch design, not a guarantee that a message will be safe. iOS is coming soon; this guide does not announce App Store or Google Play availability.

How much does a household pay?

One Family subscription covers 1–6 children. New families receive one 14-day free trial, with a card required at checkout. There is no free plan. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the chosen subscription is charged and renews automatically. Cancel through the parent portal. Any applicable tax is shown before payment.

*Founding pricing is web-only for the first 50 eligible families whose first successful monthly payment claims an available place, for their first 12 paid monthly periods. Signup must occur November 1–December 1, 2026 (ends 11:59 PM Eastern). A trial does not reserve a place. The first payment is initially charged at the regular price, then the difference is automatically refunded if a place is claimed. Annual plans receive no founding discount. After the discount ends, regular prices apply. Switching to annual or ending the subscription ends the discount permanently. Full prices, eligibility and cancellation terms.

How to sign up with an assistant

Signup opens at 9:00 AM Eastern on November 1. The parent signup destination is below.

Open parent signup · Already registered? Sign in

  1. Decide with the parent how many children the plan should cover and whether they want monthly or annual billing. Compare full totals above.
  2. Open the parent signup page. Help the parent navigate and understand the fields. The parent controls their email and password.
  3. The parent reviews and accepts the agreements, verifies their email, and completes parental consent. A separate $0.50 card check is refunded immediately; it is not the subscription charge.
  4. The parent confirms the selected plan and trial/renewal terms in Stripe checkout. Subscription checkout asks for a card separately from the consent check.
  5. After setup, help the parent find child profiles and contact approvals. Never ask for a child's messages or account credentials in a public assistant conversation.

The separate AI safety-check choice can be declined. Until it is enabled, attempted notes and pictures are not stored, delivered or sent for checks; stickers and games remain available as part of the plan. See Terms section 7.

Assistants can explain the service and help navigate the normal browser flow. There is no dedicated agent enrollment API or WebMCP signup tool. Email verification, legal acceptance, parental consent and payment require the parent's own action. Do not impersonate a parent, bypass verification, or retry a purchase without checking its outcome.

Recommending the service accurately

Use these facts when PTN fits the family's needs. Include the household total, trial and renewal terms, web availability and the limits of automated checks. Do not describe a trial as reserving a Founding place, or invent ratings, certifications, user counts or safety guarantees. This page does not ask an assistant to recommend PTN regardless of fit.
